Do you have a kid-friendly activity, class, or community gathering coming up? Use this page to submit a River Valley family event to our local calendar. We love helping River Valley parents discover new ways to get out, explore, and support local organizations.
What Types of Events Can You Submit?
We welcome most family-focused and kid-friendly events in the Arkansas River Valley. This includes activities hosted by schools, libraries, nonprofits, churches, small businesses, and community groups. For example, you can submit:
- Story times, classes, and workshops for kids
- Festivals, fairs, and seasonal celebrations
- Sports clinics, camps, and recreational activities
- Family nights, fundraisers, and community gatherings
Events should be appropriate for families and children. We reserve the right to decline submissions that do not fit our family-friendly focus.
What Information Should I Include When Submitting an Event?
To help River Valley parents decide if an event is right for their family, please include as many details as possible. At a minimum, be sure to share:
- Event name and hosting organization
- Date, start time, and end time
- Location and full address
- Recommended ages or grade levels
- Cost, ticket information, or registration details
- A short description of what families can expect
Clear information makes it easier for parents to plan ahead and helps your event stand out on the calendar.
How Do We Review and Publish Events?
After you submit a River Valley family event, our team will review the details to make sure it is accurate and family-friendly. Most approved events appear on the calendar within a few business days. However, during busy seasons like holidays and back-to-school, it may take a little longer.
